Unpatterned Home: In Bed

Despite the warm weekend, I took the time to ready the bed for winter. I have a long wish list of upgrades and improvements that I'd like to complete around our apartment. Aside from purchasing a place of our own, these include a number of furniture upgrades or additions, alterations, replacements and restyling. Until a new place is in sight, I am trying to slowly purge some of the useless stuff and update some of the movable things, like bedding. I am loving our new bedding in all its shades of gray. I like that it works with our soft blue walls, coordinates, and adds a pop of color and a few different textures. In an ideal world I might add another graphic, rectangular throw pillow, or some big square pillows in back in a rich blue or gray. For now, this is where we're at:

Unison Duvet Cover in Larch Ash over Down Comforter

DKNY Chrysanthemum Charcoal Quilt (Fabulous find at Bed Bath & Beyond. Seems to be discontinued.)

DreamZone Sheets in Ash. (These are heavenly. We wanted sheets that felt amazing and I insisted on gray. I am so glad we went with these 750 thread count sateen over the Unison brand, higher priced 200 thread count cotton. It makes a difference.)

Unison Square Pillows in Larch Mustard and Sailor Mustard

CB2 Ada Table Lamp (Not new, but I still love its place on my nightstand.)

I have to attribute the bedding to multiple family gifts thanks to the wedding registry. We were long overdue for a comforter upgrade. I love my sleep and I think it's important to love your bed. I have a feeling this setup is going to make it even harder to get up in the morning.
