About the Project
When we walked into this Lincoln Park home for the first time, it was truly a large white box with can lights for days. This home desperately needed to be infused with some life. Our clients wanted their space to be filled with color, pattern, personality, and joy, and we took that to the next level.
In the front living room and dining room, we found the perfect vibrant wallpaper to bring the space alive. There was no decorative lighting, so we added a chandelier over the dining table and filled the room with a balance of special vintage finds and new upholstery with rich, contrasting fabrics. The space fully came together once the art was on the walls.
In the back family room, we created a big impact by color drenching the space. We added built-in cabinetry and sconces, and styled the shelves with our client’s books and new and old treasures. The vintage rug stole the show, and the refinished vintage chairs in the breakfast nook were one of our favorite pieces.
Fun Fact: When we were pitching art to this client for above the fireplace, we unknowingly sent them pieces from an artist they personally knew! One of those pieces found its home in the breakfast nook.

THROW PILLOWS
The easiest way to make a room feel complete and tie in all of the colors throughout is with throw pillows
BUILT IN CABINETRY
This room was in desperate need of some character. We achieved this by adding intentional details and light fixtures to the built-ins.
